The Singing Publican

They have some great times at the Kalkadoon.
   If you don't Believe it, take a look at all the bra's   hanging up behind the bar.  Or have a read off the walls, where just about every passing patron has let loose with a Texta.
   There are many pubs, but only a few this special . You might need a 4WD to get there, but it is well worth the effort.  Whatever the time,  the Kalkadoons got plenty going  on,  be it stories from a bunch of rowdy miners, a glimpse of  'Yabbie Girl' in her tank, a chat with  "Babe' the bar-side Quarrian,  or an almighty yarn with publican Trevor Long the non stop

     Where else would you find a scull on the bar, bullet holes in the roof, a singing publican  (he is good to) or the ashes of a bloke who used to drink here and loved it so much he did not want to leave.
   A singing Publican is a most unusual attraction.  Trevor Long noted for his golden tonsils, likes to sing to help patrons enjoy themselves and at the same time, let them know he is also having a good time.  Other attractions at the Kalkadoon Hotel a beer garden and a barbecue conducted each Saturday night.
   Trevor has also set aside a special visitors area where patrons can camp and fish on the Liechhardt river
